Verizon iPhone 4 Bumpers by Apple Review: Not worth the Money

Verizon iPhone 4 Bumpers ReviewThe mobile phone market is flooded with multiple accessory options. While some are cool, others are nothing more than a waste of your money. Verizon iPhone 4 Bumpers from Apple falls in the latter category. The accessory is not worth your money and there are several reasons why. The iPhone 4 Bumpers created by Apple are not capable of protecting the back of your phone since it remains exposed despite the bumper on it. In addition to this, the bumpers are currently priced at $29.00 on Apple’s website when the actual cost of the material for the bumpers is less than $1.00.

The bumpers are made using rubber and molded plastic, and fits around the edges of your iPhone 4 snugly. It helps you personalize your iPhone 4 and is available in six different colors including black, green, blue, pink, white and orange. Bumpers are also designed to offer style to your iPhone 4. They come with metal buttons for power and volume for your phone. The Verizon iPhone 4 Bumpers are only compatible with the Verizon iPhone 4; they will not work with the previous models of the iPhone.

Apple has recently modified the bumper so that it can be used by their Verizon iPhone users. In the newly designed bumpers, the mute switch has been moved closer to the volume switches to accommodate the new internal antenna design after Apple bought they way out of Antennagate.

In order to use the Verizon iPhone 4 bumper case, you need to simply snap your gadget into it. You can pull the bumper easily from the sides of your phone since it is not held by elastic. Another reason why you may not like the matte plastic portion of the case is because it is light in color in comparison to the shining reflective part. This spoils the overall look and feel of the case. We believe consumers would have liked the case better if it had been available in a dark and glossy look. The case supports the Apple branded cables but fails to support some of the third party cables out there. Consider looking for a different brand of a case. Since Apple has unreasonably hiked the price of the case, you won’t feel like shelling out money for a simple rubber case. Just remember there are better options available out there.
